Today I’m going to teach you the steps to take in your communication when someone has a concern. We want to make sure that the other person feels heard, supported, and that we together come up with a good solution.
The steps are:
- Tell me more, what else?
- Summarize
- What other concerns do you have?
- Isolate the primary concern
- Gain permission
- Provide solution
- Temperature check
