The Olympics are (as of now) coming up next month so I thought it would be fitting to share with you a conversation I had with my friend, Olympic Silver Medalist Lauren Gibbs. Lauren and I first met when I was 21 years old, and I introduced her for her first big speech at our direct sales convention.
Lauren’s story from direct sales champ to Olympic champ includes stories about being unemployed on the couch and searching for her “authentic self.”
She shares how she overcame her impulse to not even attempt the Olympic interview because she “had never done that sport before.” Lauren also shares her key to recruiting someone truly out of her league as bobsled partner.
