If you are like me, you spent the last few weeks looking for the perfect gift for people. Or you gave up completely and decided to go with gift cards (we’ve all been there 😀).
Today we’re going to talk about the best post-Christmas present you can give to your team and everyone around you because of your awesome network marketing business. To get in the spirit of Christmas, I wrapped myself up as a gift (you’ll have to watch the video HERE to see :)).
Either way, I hope you are having a great Christmas, and I think we just need to be real that the excitement we have around gift-giving is likely going to fade. Some of our gifts are going to be amazing, and some are going to be forgotten or lost.
So I want to encourage you with the gift that you can give to people. It doesn’t have to be the presents that you give people, but your presence that matters. Remember, you can give this gift every day.
One of my favorite quotes ever is by Marianne Williamson. She says:
“Our deepest fear isn’t that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
I love that quote, especially the last sentence. When we dull our shine, it doesn’t help anyone.

When you give yourself these gifts, it helps you to show up differently. And what you can give to your team and to your family is the commitment to be done with being your own worst enemy and moving forward with giving the gift of trust, stability, compassion, and hope.
